Bob Wright Receives the YMCA Service to Youth Award

At the Annual Treasure Valley YMCA Meeting, the Y honors several of their outstanding volunteers with a "Service To Youth" award. Recipients of this award are volunteers who have supported the YMCA mission through their time, money or influence. These individuals have had a growing commitment to the Y through the years and have given of themselves to help the Y promote the healthy development of youth and to help develop the values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility in all those we serve. Those who have been honored with this award in the past have been role-models of these positive values and in the services they have given to the Y and to the community.

Bob Wright was one of three honored with this award in 2013. He has dedicated much of his time in volunteering for the YMCA in several capacities. He is currently on the Board of Directors Executive Committee, he is the Chairman of the Buildings and Properties Committee as well as the 2013 Strong Kids Campaign, which while under his leadership as earned over $800,000 and still counting!!! He is a role model for his company, his community and all those who come into contact with him.
